2017 Guam Society Cherry Blossom Princess Aubrey Mantanona

Please join us at the 2017 Guam Society Cherry Blossom Princess Coronation Ball in honor of Guam Society Cherry Blossom Princess Aubrey Mantanona

Aubrey is the daughter of Frank Mantanona (Dededo, Guam) and Rosanne Meno (Inarajan, Guam), residing in Woodbridge, Virginia.  She is 2016 graduate of Woodbridge High School, Woodbridge, Virginia and a student at Northern Virginia Community College, Woodbridge Campus. Aubrey has been a staunch support of the Guam Society volunteering many hours over the past eight years in support of Guam Society events like Chamorro Night, the Liberation events, Cherry Blossom Balls, and many more.

Her parents, Frank and Rosanne are active supporters of the Guam Society, assisting with the annual Memorial Day and Liberation Picnics, the Roberto LG Lizama Golf Classic, Chamorro Night and the Santa Marian Kamalen Novenas.

2017 Guam Society Junior Cherry Blossom Princess Isabella George

We will also recognize our 2017 Junior Cherry Blossom Princess, Isabella George, daughter of David and Lori George Haymarket, Virginia.

Bella’s interests include swimming with the Piedmont Tsunamis Competitive Swim Team, playing her ukulele and spending time with her family.

Bella has deep roots with the Guam Society with her mom, Lori representing the Society as the 1992 Guam Society Cherry Blossom Princess and her grandparents Annie and Larry Quichocho who are Manaina (Honorary Members) of the Society serving as committee chairpersons for many Guam Society events over the past 30 years.

We look forward to seeing you at the Guam Society’s first major event of the 2017 Guam Society Calendar year.

Directions to Fort Belvoir Base:

From Washington DC (1-95 South)

 If you are traveling south on 1-95, take the Fairfax Parkway/Backlick Road (286) exit 166 A.
 Take the Fairfax County Parkway to its end at U.S. Rt. 1 (Richmond Highway.)
 Turn left
 At the first light, on the right, is the entrance for Tulley Gate on to Fort Belvoir.
 Tulley Gate is the main entrance to the post for visitors. All visitors without a Department of Defense ID card must use Tulley Gate which is open 05:00am – 9:00pm. Visitors who wish to enter Fort Belvoir after 9 p.m. may use Pence Gate.

From Richmond (1-95 North)

 If you are traveling north on 1-95 North, take the Fort Belvoir Exit 161 B. (U.S. Route 1 — Richmond Highway)
 You will travel five miles to Fort Belvoir.
 Continue through the light at the Fairfax County Parkway (286). At the next stop light, on the right side you will see the entrance for Tulley Gate, turn right.

Directions to Officers Club:

From Tulley Gate (open 24 hours)

 Enter through Tulley Gate and follow along Pohick Road & continue ahead onto 12th street
 Take a right on Belvoir Road
 Turn left on 21st Street
 Take the immediate right on Belvoir Drive
 Turn left on Woodlawn Drive
 Continue onto Schulz Circle
 Officer’s Club will be on the right

From Pence Gate (open 5:00-9:00pm Mon-Fri, 9:00am – 5:00pm Sat & Sun)

 Enter through Pence Gate
 At the traffic circle, taking the second exit onto Belvoir Road & continue for 1.4 miles
 Turn left on 21st Street
 Take an immediate right on Belvoir Drive
 Turn left on Woodlawn Drive
 Continue onto Schulz Circle
 Officer’s Club will be on the right

From John J. Kingman Gate (open 5:00am-9:00pm, everyday)
 Enter through Kingman Gate towards Beulah St
 Turn right onto Gunston Road & continue for 2 miles
 Turn left on 21st Street
 Take an immediate right on Belvoir Drive
 Turn left on Woodlawn Drive
 Continue onto Schulz Circle
 Officer’s Club will be on the right
