Treasurer – Maria Perez-Brodeur


Maria Perez-Brodeur was born on Guam and is the daughter of David and Maria (Paulino) Perez.  She has a daughter – Shanna Marie.  She has lived not only in Guam, but also in Saipan, Japan, Denmark, Germany, and Belgium.  She has also lived in various other states, the most recent, Oregon, which she would like to return to one day.

Her family has been involved with the Guam Society of America since the 1970′s and she is following in her father’s and sister Evelyn’s footsteps as they were former officers for the Guam Society.  Her father held the offices of President and Treasurer and her sister Evelyn has held the office of President.

Maria currently works for George Mason University as a Transfer Admissions Coordinator and will soon be transitioning to a new position as an Academic Advisor in the College of Health & Human Services.  She received her undergraduate degree in Business Management from University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and her Master’s degree in Management from Southern Oregon University.
