The 15th Annual Guam Society Roberto LG Lizama Memorial Classic Golf Tournament will be held Friday, August 30, 2013, at the Courses at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Kick start the 2013 Labor Day Weekend by coming out to support a fantastic cause as the tournament benefits the Guam Society of America’s Scholarship Program. This is the Guam Society’s annual fundraising effort for scholarship funds that are awarded deserving and aspiring college-bound students. Tournament begins with an 8am Shotgun Start (with check in not later than 7:30am), Captains Choice tournament. Sign up early to play as the tournament fills quickly.
$100 per player or $400 per team includes: range balls, green fees, golf cart, beverages, and the Guam island-style fiesta at the Andrews Air Force Base Club House immediately following the tournament.
(NOTE: Entries must be received no later than Friday, August 23, 2013 – fees will increase to $110 per player after this date. Participation is not guaranteed until payment is received.)
Prizes: Awarded to tope teams in various flights depending on the total of teams registered. Additional prizes will be awarded for male and female winners of the following categories: Closest to the Pin; Closest to the Line; and Longest Drive.
Mulligans and raffle tickets for door prizes may be purchased in advance online or on the day of the competition. Prizes from previous tournaments included: iPad, LCD Flat Screen HDTV, Callaway Driver, free rounds of golf, and much, much more.
Non-golfers and guests are welcomed to join in the fiesta at $10 per person.
Cancellation Policy: The tournament will only be cancelled if the staff at Andrews Air Force Base Golf course determines that the course is unplayable. A make up date will then be scheduled; sorry no refunds for this event.

From North and South on the I-495/I-95 Beltway:
In Maryland: Take Exit 7A and follow Route 5 South (Waldorf). Take Coventry Way Exit and make a left at the light staying in the right lane. Make a right at the next light onto Old Alexandria Ferry Road. Make a left at the second light to the Andrews Air Force Base Virginia Avenue Gate. Take the first left and the golf course will be on the right. Andrews Air Force Base requires all non-military/non-federal participants’ driver’s license numbers 72 hours prior to the tournament – please provide this information when registering.
The Guam Society of America
