The Rosario family has provided the following information for Eddie Rosario who passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2012.  On behalf ofthe Rosario family, they extend their thanks for your love and support during this difficulttime.

Memorial Service/Vieiwing for Daniel Palomo (Dan) Astorga:

Memorial Services for Dan will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home (, 3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, Virginia 22192, from 10:30am to 4:00pm.

Rosary will be said during the funeral service.
Burial will take place on Guam.  Nightly rosaries are being held on Guam at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Piti after the 6pm mass.

Guam Society Member and Congressional Office Representative, Rosanne Meno, will be assisting with coordination of food donations for the Memorial Service.  Please contact Rosanne via email at or via phone at (202)320-2866 if you would like to donate food or refreshments for the viewing.

Dan’s passing is mourned by his wife, Carmen Torres Astorga; his children:  David, Matthew, Danielle, and Nathaniel; his mother-in-law: Isidora Blas Garrido Torres; his siblings:  Robert, John, Frank, and Agnes; his brothers/sisters-in-law:  Patricia, Michael, Cynthia, and Frank; and their families.


Please keep GSA Member Emma Scott’s niece, Melody who passed away on Friday, March 3, 2012.  Melody was 21 years old and is the daughter of Emma’s brother, Hermis.  Emma asks that we pray for her brother Hermis, his wife and their family.


March 7, 2012:                                                                                                                                                 Vivian Tackney, May Salas’ sister, is recovering well from her recent surgery. John and May Salas want to thank all of the GSA members for their prayers and well wishes.

Guam Society Member, Edwin Naputi, is recovering well from his shoulder surgery.  After his follow up next week, he will be starting physical therapy to further recover from his injury.

Francine Atalig, daughter of Guam Society Member Frank Mantanona, has completed her surgery yesterday, but will be in recovery for three days.

Please continue to pray for them and their families recover from their illnesses.

Please keep our members, Jess Rosario and Regana Stewart and their families in your prayers.

Jess Rosario (Chu), one of our honorary members/manaina, was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon after being admitted on Friday, Jan 27th.  He is doing well, but needs prayers to make sure he follows his doctor’s orders for recovery.   Annie and their children appreciate you keeping Jess and their family in your prayers during this time.

Also, please keep GSA Member Regana Stewart’s cousin in your prayers.  Regana’s cousin passed away last week.  Keep her and her family  members in your prayers during this time of loss.
